Forums, the internet, news outlets, YouTube, and other platforms are used mostly to complain about issues. We use these social bonding mechanisms to connect with others who are also frustrated and upset. I get it. Nobody likes feeling slighted for purchasing an expensive truck and these outlets provide ways to express the negative emotions/feelings. However, can we start a thread about those of us that are happy with our trucks, the year and mileage, and no major issues to discuss? Heck, you can mention any issues you want, big or small, but I thought having a thread that discusses good experiences may help shed light on forum members that have had positive experiences. I will go first.

'24 TRD Pro/build 4/24, 1,672 trouble free miles as we speak. Cheers.

1,672 miles and cheering? Has Toyota initial quality fallen so low?

    Oh I get it, sarcasm.

Post over 100,000 miles please. Also only post if no problems including wind noise, trim pieces falling off, squeaking brakes, bedsides out of alignment, gauge issues, acceleration hesitation, etc.

Saying zero problems would be the most honest and for someone to gauge reliability and quality.

Not cheering, but merely a starting point. Obviously my rig is too new to gauge quality feedback. But, in a world where we mostly only hear the bad (which often is magnified), I hope that many forum members will post positive examples of their rigs.

Don’t worry, second gen guys can’t help but tell us about their million mile trucks. I’m pretty sure it’s a requirement when you buy one. Kind of like people that are vegan have to tell everyone they are vegan.

to answer OPs question, 2024 hybrid limited with just about 2000 miles. No issues besides the recall that was just completed at the dealership. Other than that been happy with the truck and turning the fake engine noise off I can here the turbos spool.

While I agree it wasn’t affecting my truck. It just recommended doing the recall. So for me it wasn’t an issue but the app stated the recall so I got it done. Never had a problem prior to doing the recall and still don’t have a problem after the recall.

102,433 wonderful miles. No major issues. No small issues. At 95,000 miles the transmission got noticeably smoother. It is now like the proverbial hot knife through buttuh.

2022 SR5. Only complaint I have is a minor wind noise. Dealer tech did not like my AVS window guards and maybe that is the cause. IDK
Other than the several applicable recalls and nearly 11000 miles of 1/2 travel trailer towing and 1/2 city miles, I have no complaints to register/ :)

18k miles and no major issues, just inconveniences. Biggest was dealership fighting to re do my factory, peeling bed liner. Won that battle in a couple weeks though.

Bought old faithful here and journeyed 700 miles to tow her back. Absolutely a blast

23 with about 10k. Had my window seal replaced at 5k, no other issues.

For what it's worth my 2nd gen left me stranded a state away from home with wife, kids, and a dog due to a failed fuel pump control moduel (about 70k miles at the time)..guess they aren't perfect :monocle: was still a great truck, but nothing is perfect. Nothing like a 200+ mile tow to remind you of that.

I had 22 platinum that I put 13k on and the only issue was the panel on the side of the seat cracked. Had a 23 pro that I put 10k miles on with no issues and I now have a 24 1794 LE with 2k miles with no issues .

‘22 SR5 TRD OR. 42k. Need to do the plugs per the manual, but it runs great. My only issue was alignment and the choice of tires they chose to put on in the factory. Now my alignment is sorted out and my new tires are a dream. I have had the recalls, and while those are issues, I separate them as I was not directly affected by any of them concerning performance or safety, and they have done all the work. That’s taking ownership, whether forced or by goodwill, either way it got done. I am very pleased with the over all performance and economy of this truck.

There is some wind noise, but compared to my wife’s Subaru, it’s much quieter.
