Hey all, new to forum and working on calming down all the chrome and brushed metal interior. I'd like to wrap the long brushed silver door trims and have been trying to find instructions on removal. I did a few searches and nothing popped up, although I'm sure it's in here someplace. Anybody have a reference? Are they just held in by tabs and can be popped off with a plastic tool? thanks in advance!

They are held in place with about 12 heat staked spot welds. The door panel needs to be removed and then you grind the 12 plastic heat staked spot welds and it will separate from the door panel. To reattach, you can actually plastic epoxy. I did all four of mine but instead of wrapping, I painted with SEM paint. Looks awesome and has held up flawlessly.

I painted as well. Instead of epoxy I used screws and washers in case I ever had to take them back out for a touch up.
