My roof and hood have bad clear coat peel, wrap the whole truck or repaint those two surfaces? Also estimated cost for complete truck wrap?
Estimated cost to respray roof and hood?
By the way I'm in Northern California

I am bored of my magnetic gray metallic color (only choice—never liked it but bought used at peak of pandemic) so I went looking at wrap costs a couple months ago. Also NorCal; Bay Area. Prices here were going to be 10-12K. Hard pass for me.

May well be cheaper elsewhere in NorCal, as just about everything is.

Or wrap just the hood and roof yourself. I wouldn't learn on those two, so buy extra and practice to get the feel for how to heat/stretch/apply. But transitioning over to the hood is a pretty good first step since the hood is relatively small and flat. Assume ~$300 in materials and gear, and one night/per (not including practice time).

I have heard that Line X has a thinner product than their spray in bed liner it is marketed as a paint alternative and can be mixed in any color it is popular with the Jeep community
