So if my water is damaged from my brake light switch to my brake lights if it's damaged in between there can I get a new wire and hook to my brake light switch and run it to my brake lights and just bypass the damaged wire is that possible

    In theory, yes.

But when your truck catches on fire. You can’t blame anybody here.

I don't know what else to do besides buying a whole new wiring harnesses. I have had so much trouble with these dang brake lights. I was just gonna try that to see id it works because I have checked everything else

I don't fully understand the question. Water damaged your brake light? Help me understand the question, or post pics and hopefully we can help. Also, if it's important, do you have an access cab or regular cab?

I would suggest getting cozy with the EWD and a multimeter. Trace the brake light wiring from the brake light switch to the taillights. Yes it will be extremely time consuming, but you will be able to pinpoint where the electrons quit flowing.
