Ok fellas, my wife bought me a light bar for my truck and i ordered a oem style switch for my truck, but im wondering how to wire it because the old switch has 3 wires, a red white and black. The new switch has 4 wires pics below, i think i know how to wire it, but from my understanding one of the wires you have to tap into your dash lights for it to stay on, im wiring it to my console behind my shifter any insight in what i should do im running the rainman 3 switch behind my shifterIMG_8835.jpg IMG_8836.png

Yes you are correct you don't have to use that if you don't want to. You can tap it into you dash lighting.
