Hey guys, I need help with my 2007 Tundra. I installed a Joying Android head unit, a Joying front camera, and an Ecoconut tailgate backup camera from Amazon.

For the rear camera, I grounded the black wire near the tailgate. I connected the purple wire to the red/blue wire at the taillight so it knows when I’m in reverse. I ran the red power wire and RCA cable to the front and plugged the RCA into the camera input on the head unit. Then I connected the purple wire to the orange “BACK” wire on the head unit harness. I spliced the red wire into the ACC power from the head unit to give the camera power.

For the front camera, I plugged in the yellow RCA video cable to the head unit and powered it by splicing its red wire into the same ACC red wire I used for the rear camera.

I followed this video for most of it, but the wiring was kind of confusing:

Also, my audio is acting weird. The music volume randomly goes up and down on its own. And now my dash lights are always on, even with the headlights off. When I turn on my headlights, the dash lights turn off, which is backwards.

Any advice would help, especially if you’ve done this before. I am going to try to upload photos in a bit.

    Thanks!

Sounds like you shorted something out. I'm gonna go out on a limb and take a swag at this and say you didn't disconnect the battery, cuz there are too many gremlins to say otherwise.
Check fuses, main power amp fuse among others.

I did disconnect the battery and checked the fuses; they all checked out.
