    Engine exchange
My truck is a 2006 4.7l,at, 2wd lmtd. I've had the truck about 8 months and lost the engine. Bought a Chilton manual, started looking for a used replacement engine and pulling the old one. Got a replacement before I had the old engine pulled and it was obvious that pulling the old engine the way the dismantler did (leaving the harness with the engine and disconnecting at the firewall) was a no brainier. I've got the new engine in but there is an extra wire lead and plug. Contacted the dismantler and was told the engine came from a Sequoia with 4wd.
Question: am I going to have to change out the wiring harness or is there some way to jump or bypass this lead that went to the transfer case?
