Just bought a new 2021 Tundra. I notice a bundle of wires, on the passenger side located above the battery, does not have the heavy plastic covering/over-wrap from the fire wall to near the head lights. Local dealer assures me that is the way they come from the factory. Dealer showed me another new truck with same situation. I believe that all bundles of wires in the engine compartment should have the heavy plastic covering/over-wrap.

    Thanks Ron for the reply.

Nope, Toyota did not move battery to passenger side, my bad, must of been thinking about my old F150. Your comment about purchasing "wiring loom of the appropriate size and wrap it up" sounds like just what my son suggested and I probably will do that. It is BS that Toyota did not wrap it from the factory. No telling what they did with hidden wring.
