Hopefully some one can help me on this, I just got a new tekonsha p3 brake controller and an ESP mount for my 2015 crewmax. Does anyone know what wiring harness I need to get? I thought it was the 3040, but it's not even close. IMG_4019.jpgAny help is much appreciated.

You need the 3017P. 3040 is for an older truck.

I have a 2014 tundra and just installed the P3 controller last weekend, I used the 3040P cable without issue. If I recall, Tekonsha website also lists the 3040P when you search for 2014+ tundra.
The connector the 3040 cable plugs into is behind the panel to the left of the emergency brake. In my truck, the connector was taped to another connector. It was up above most the other cables, towards the firewall.
    Hope that helps.

Thank you. I did some more research and that is what I came up with as well. Now the waiting begins.....again.

@CM-LENNY is correct, the 3017P is the correct cable for a 2015. The 3040P is for 2003-2014 tundra
