Wiper/Washer Question

I own a 2016 Tundra (bought it in 2018) and my question has to do with the windshield washer function. When I use the windshield washer, the wipers do not automatically turn on. I have to manually turn the wipers on. Is that normal? My truck does not have the intermittent wiper option.

 

That is indeed normal for your non-intermittent wiper switch stalk.

The good news is you can just replace the wiper switch stalk with the variable intermittent one and you’ll gain both functions. Auto-wipe with wash, and intermittent wipe.

It’s an easy plug-and-play replacement.

How about a driver side wiper that actually works!!! I've tried every brand and even Toyota replacement. They all skip and miss spots continually while raining.
