Winter wheels without TPMS?

Anyone running seperate winter wheels and no TPMS?

im asking because my current truck (Nissan frontier) has tpms but my winters don’t. Only “issue” is the light comes on.

my 2024 tundra is on its way. I’m concerned a lack of tpms may be an issue due to all the fancy schmancy sensors, safety sense, etc. my Nissan doesn’t have any of that.

 

Not an issue on my 2020 but the 3rd gen may be different.

 

Perfect. So, looks like black electrical tape will once again make an appearance, lol

 

In case anyone searches this topic I have a seperate set of winter wheels with no TPMS sensors. Tom’s light blinks upon startup and then remains on. There’s no disabling of any “systems”.
