    Hey All,
Curious if anyone else experiences this. My windshield wipers are too slow at max speed, especially compared to the 2017 F-150 the 23 tundra replaced. I went to the dealership and wanted to make sure I was using the controls correctly and they told me that was as fast as they went, and went as far as to tell me they would deal with it by not driving in the rain...

Ive had to pull off the road twice this winter to wait out heavy rains while other motorists are cruising by.

I do not have auto wipers in my 23 limited.

    Anyone else have this experience?

My wipers seem to be plenty fine, but if a dealer told me that, I would never spend another cent there in my life.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
Mine work fine however I would recommend putting on your windshield and all windows a glass treatment like Rain X. Especially if you experience snowy and icy conditions. This might also help solve your problems with not seeing out the windshield.

Are your wipers slow compared to other new model Tundras on their lot? You could do a 15-30 second timed test to see. If yours are noticeably slower then the dealer needs to discover what's going on. If not, then perhaps rain-x as suggested might help.

Slowest and subsequently the most dangerous wipers, I've ever had, on any vehicle. It's as if it's missing that top speed option. Garbage. Several times been caught in rain that shouldn't be an issue at all, and it makes visibility downright dangerous. Wtf

    Lots of stuff!
My thought is the similar to others about applying some sort of coating. I would use a ceramic coating on the glass to make it slippery. Not too sure about the speeds but if a dealership told me not to drive in the rain as a solution to the problem, I really don't know what I would do!

Sometimes my auto-sensing speed is a little slow for my liking, but the few times I've used the manual speed it's been fine. I'd say the same speed as my 2007 was.

We've been in a drought for 2 months and I don't know how well they work.

I find the pause between turning the wiper on and the wiper actually moving is unacceptable. I’ve spoken to the dealer written a letter to Toyota, filed a class action suit and brought to the attention of everyone I know. My recommendation is don’t use the wipers it creates an unsafe situation. Litigation in progress.
