I have a 2018 Platinum. I bought it new. I have 87,000 miles on it. In June 2022 my windshield wipers quit working. I thought it was a relay related issue. I took it to the dealership and they stated you cannot replace the relay without replacing the entire switch. I was troubled by that statement and set out to find the relay and replace it. 3 or 4 days later the wipers started working. They worked flawlessly until 3 days ago. Still not working. My question is are the wipers and washer controlled by a relay? I have looked in the power supply box under the hood and only find a 30 amp fuse for wipers and a 20 amp fuse for the washer. No relay marked as wipers. I have scoured the internet looking for information on this issue and find nothing. I am not opposed to replacing the switch if is bad. I would like to try the relay first providing it is controlled by one. Can anyone tell me the location of the relay.

If you have the Front Wipe with Intermittent it has the relay but its inside the switch like the dealer said. I marked a red line above it here.

If you have verified bot the 20A Washer and 30A Wiper fuses are good, I would check the two ground wires coming from the switch. Make sure you dont have a broken or loose wire somewhere. If you dont it could be safe to assume an internal failure in the switch assembly its self. If you are good with a multimeter you could study this diagram, and then test the switch with the meter to make sure it is all working.

There is no external relay that you can just remove and replaced. It will be soldered onto a circuit board inside the switch.

Thank you for your reply. I visited the dealership this morning. After running the diagnostics it was determined the switch was not being found. End result they removed the connector to the harness. There was corrosion on the connector. They cleaned it and applied dielectric grease to prevent further corrosion. The wiper switch is working fine. The technician stated he had never seen this before. A learning opportunity for all of us.
