Windshield tint with factory dashcam

Has anyone tinted their windshield with a factory dashcam. I just picked up my 2023 limited OR yesterday (I didn't want the Dashcam but the dealer said that was the way the truck was built) and went straight to the tint shop. The guys said their machine doesn't have a pattern that will cut around the dashcam.

 

It will see through it. I have 50% on my windshield and 5% on the rest and my front and rear see through both without any issues.

 

My tint guy said the same thing. He cut around it and you wouldn’t even notice the difference if he does a halfway decent job of it

 

Thanks all. My tint guy said the Toyota Glass was thin and he was scared he would scratch it so he didn't want to cut around it.
