    Hey everyone what are yall using to fix the chipping or peeling paint on the trim on/below the window, it looks like chrome underneath but would like to keep it black. I'll send pics in the AM cheers

    This is a replaceable part. Although quite expensive to do so. So members have painted theirs or if you're a chrome guy you can peel all the black off and polish it. There are some threads on it around here somewhere if you search hard enough.

    Note to OP: Your DC I think may use diff't part number than the AC and RC trucks. But the search result about 203 results down in that search with subject '2005 tundra double cab window trim part#' will probably have what you need.

    If not, check the one a few more results down 'window trim pieces'

    It used to be cheaper 10 years ago. Now the mouldings are 30-40% more today.
