Winch wiring 25 hybrid

    2025 Tundra 1794 Factory lift, TRD, PP
    RCI protection, RCI bumper, 12k winch.
    I looked through the search of previous threads and didn't find anything. I apologize if it has been previously addressed. Im curious the recommend way to wire my winch.
    Option 1: using the lugs on the fuse box drivers side. Use multi meter with truck running to verify power and ground. Install disconnect.

    Option 2: run wires to the battery under rear seat drivers side. (Not going to be fun or easy)

    Ya, I saw that. I think it's a little pricey and I still need to run wires to the battery which is the correct way to do it. Option one is not safe apparently. I bet I can't ghetto fab something cheaper after I run the wires. I'll look more into it but it just looked like a lot of money for two terminals and a bracket. Maybe I'm missing something. No budget restraint.
