Yo folks! I gotta install my Victory 4x4 bumper on my 3rd gen. Anyone know if I can keep the control box on my Badland 12000lb winch? Or where I can relocate it? A0E77FCF-0570-4C5C-AE3F-1878D93C30EA.jpg

I havent put a winch in mine yet, but in the install video @brimy311 does say that the box needs to be relocated.

Yeah, I was just wondering where to put it. I saw a couple guys on here relocate to the engine bay, but I’d really like to use the included leads.

Tint and wheels. Decked box in the bed. S and B Cold Air filters under the hood. Shiftpower throttle response controller.
I see the Road Runner. Is the other side Wile E. Coyote? Can't tell from the angle. LOL

No advice on your install but following along to see what you do. I'd like to relocate my control box to under hood. Seems like it's not too complicated just big battery extension cables or I'll probably crimp my own.

How much length do you have with the leads it came with? You might be able to put it somewhere between the grille and radiator depending on how big the box is.

Leads are 14” from control box to winch.

I think you'll have room to make that work, that's a decent bit of slack. I wish I had my winch in so I could give you better direction brother.
@Krezz had a winch in his before switching bumpers, maybe he can offer some insight.

I'm not the technical member of our group, so install wasn't done by me. If I know enough that may assist however is that we have the Warn S10 installed and we had to use the relocation kit to mount the control box just up and off to the driver side. Wiring is then ran up to where the battery is, which we now have a dual system, but I don't believe that adds or takes away much if any distance.

    14" sounds fairly suitable though.

I have the SSO bumper, but I would assume they are very similar. I mounted my control box on the side next to the winch. I can still flip the on off switch through the bumpers access holes. E2162124-741C-4234-8922-35833A7407F6.jpg
