It comes from a 2016-2019 Toyota Tundra 4x4 Crewmax with 3 mounting points / brackets where mine, the white one got 4. Will the black one with 3 mounting points fit on my white Tundra? Any other issues to consider?

It looks like the three are in the right place. Just the one is missing that is at the front of the back door. Makes me wonder if original owner of the boards lost that bracket.

For what it's worth, I had 2007 crewmax running boards on my 2020 for a year and everything buttoned up fine.

I think you have a typo.

You state yours has 3 mounting points and the new one has 3 mounting points. It looks like you truck has 4 mounting points.

Regardless, I wouldn't trust any weight on them with 3 mounting points to the body.

Are the 3pt steps Toyota or aftermarket?

Seller claims it came with the truck and they're Toyota original and he removed them few weeks later, and they only came with the 3 mounting brackets

No, Toyota dealers and use aftermarket parts.

If you can't see them in person, I would ask the seller for a pic where that 4th mount would be or a pic of the passenger side.

For what it’s worth, my ‘19 came with the same black ones (3point).

At purchase I wanted chrome running boards, so I had the dealership swap to chrome and they gave me the black ones as well.

Both sets, the ones that originally came on the truck and the chrome ones the dealership installed, only came with 3 brackets and bolts.

I ran the boards for a few years before switching to nfab without any issues.

Would the 2023 Tundra Crewmax be compatible with the 2021?
