Hello all- I'm the wife, not the driver but it's sitting in the driveway and I want to know. The map lights and rear dome lights are not going on at all, not with any of the doors or by the "on" switch.

The fuse is good because the floor light, cargo light and vanity lights all work like they're supposed to and are on the same fuse. I changed the fuse and a bulb in the map light(personal lights?) anyway. I changed and reset the adjustments for lighting on the apps as well.

I read to "remove the 2 screws in the glasses case and slide it forward" to test for power. I removed the screws and dropped it down a tiny bit, enough that it clicks when I put it back but I would have to really push to move it forward and since it isn't mine, that will have to wait. When I removed the rear dome light cover there were 2 pink plugs would be the best description not screws so I stopped there, again not mine and if my investigation does something that needs fixing I'd feel terrible!

What can be checked? Is there a wiring diagram somewhere? The floor light bulb is original but the vanity lights have been changed to LED, so have the headlights and tail lights, before he got it.

Thanks for any suggestions- other than wait for you husband to do it :) Layman's terms also greatly appreciated.

    Welcome from NY.
Could be a bad switch or wire since all the fuses are good.
