Soooo ... enquiring minds want to know as I drive past Toyota dealerships there are a lot of the new model Tundra's sitting in lots that are returned. low miles but still over priced in my opinion.
I presently have a 2017 SR5 DC and have been considering trading in but the amount of used / new Tundra's I am seeing concerns me. Is it lack of power because of the V6 and "crappy turbo"?? Some of these new Tundra's have less than 10k miles. Would like to know what everyone feels about the new Tundra.

I think it is a combination of two things. They have caps on how far above MSRP they can sell new. Enough folks aren't happy with the new Gen 3 fitment issues and selling them. I think it is more of former. During Rona shortages a lot of fleet vehicles/loaners were being sold.

It's definitely not that. New motor has tons of early low end torque and makes as much HP as the outgoing V8. Likely early adopters not getting what they thought they were getting. Or on to the next shiny pretty-pretty.

We have 14 Tundra trucks in my city of 500k people to choose from. I just looked them up and I would go with a domestic 3/4-1 ton for those flippen prices. Good God! 58k for an SR5. 68k for a comparable interior package to what I would buy in a domestic. Pound sand.

The GMCs are all diesel engines. If you optioned the 6.6L gasoline motor, ~10000.00 cheaper. Right in line with a 1/2 ton truck. Blows my mind.
