Ahh....Lance, Alaskan would be a great start. But.... you will need a DC with 6.5 or 8 ft bed. 5.5ft is too short.

I wish Alu-Cab would make Tundra products! I’m guess they think they wouldn’t sell enough to make it worth shipping a Tundra to South Africa for development. I will likely be going with a Go Fast Camper. They seem to have the best option as of now.

AT also just started making their summit series which looks good too.

GFC makes minimal campers, which are good if you don't want too much weight or luxury and just needed a solid place to sleep easily:

This is what I'm  over. A Grandby Shell model with the 'king-size' bed option and maybe wired for solar.

    This!!!!

Me and the Mrs checked them all out at the Expo West back in May and Vagabond was the one we liked best. I actually did a follow-up with them yesterday and this was the reply I got back.

    "Allen,

Glad you were able to see the campers in person! We have had a great response on the Drifter orders and are really focused on production. We almost have the full-size design completed and will offer it as soon as we finalize pricing

If you're not already signed up on our mailing list, please sign up. We will announce it there first before we start taking orders. Hopefully next month.

    Thank you,

I've seen the Northstar. Nice units but meant for 3/4 ton trucks. Not 1/2 ton friendly or meant to be used off-road like the FWC.
