Any opinions on the whitest halogen bulb for headlights? I would go LED but I read LED lights tend to disappoint in a halogen style housing. Thanks!

Anything that equates to 5000K temperature is the whitest. So maybe Philips Diamond?

What year is your truck? I had the Vleds micro led headlights in the halogen housing in my 2013. They were designed for that setup and work extremely well.

It’s a 2016 Limited. That’d be awesome if those worked in the housing

Sylvania has a high end bulb. Can't remember the name off the top of my head...

silverstars will be about as good as it gets for halogen. Switching to the factory LEDs with the ihacker harness will be worth the investment. If I would have known how much better they are vs the stock halogens, the factory LED headlights would have been my first mod.

I have no doubt about that. I do plan to eventually switch to OEM LEDs, but I was hoping this could be a band aid for now

I was looking at the Sylvania ZXE, they claim it’s their “brightest and whitest”

I was thinking of SilverStars but the ZXE wasn't around when I last looked. I think you found yourself a halogen bulb to use.

I used Silverstars before getting my LEDs.
Don't get the Ultra Sliverstars, they are too blue and don't last very long..

Silver stars seem to be pretty popular. I’m curious how much whiter the ZXEs are and if it’s enough to justify the cost jump

I have ZXE Golds for the main beams and Silverstars for the high beams.
