So I finally was able to nail down my irritating whistling wind noise on my 22’. Mine was pretty easy to nail down because I only hear it from 34-38 mph. I know there are a ton of post and different potential fixes but again I was able to narrow it down on my truck exactly. I taped up the entire window seal and it was still there. I then taped up the mirror where it pivots and the noise was gone. I took the tape off the window seal and then folded the mirror and taped in between the fold. Drove around and the noise was gone. I took the tape off just to check and the noise was back. Basically there are two black pads where the mirror pivots on and they are not completely flush. I used clear hockey tape and just covered the edges of those pads. Clear hockey tape is kind of like that chip tape they use, it molds perfectly. I think in time those black pads come out a pinch because my noise developed in time. My noise is now completely gone

I had the whistling noise before as well, when I folded mirrors, the noise would disappear.

In my case taping all of the mirror didn't quite help, it was still whistling.

I thought that the mirror was causing the whistling noise.

Then, 1k miles later, folding the mirror no longer helped me to get rid of the whistling noise. It was still there...

At around 2500 miles, I had front driver side window rubber runner replaced and that resolved my whistling noise.
