Happy Holidays, I recently had the dreaded blinking tire pressure light come on. My truck is a 2016 1794 that had the stock 20" aluminum wheels on it originally. I now have the TRD BBS 18" wheels on the truck. When I swapped them, I assume the tire shop just threw in the original ones into the TRD wheels, havent really had any issues since. After doing some research it seems there are 2 different types of TPMS sensors that are out there, with different serials, angles of the sensor, etc. Anyone have any insight into what the correct part number is that I need to put into the TRD wheels to make sure they communicate to the truck?

    Thanks!

I used Denso 5500118 sensors on my 2021 Limited and they paired with the truck just fine by following the pairing method outlined in the owners manual. Been working fine.

    Too many, but not enough....
One type is only for steel wheels and the other is for everything else. Best to put your Vin in the parts catalog and the part number that comes up is what your original aluminum wheels would take and what your bbs would also take since they are also alloy.
