Still got months before purchase, but I was wondering if the TRD w/ Off Road package shocks will do better for a truck that will do mostly street driving, but with horrible roads. Wondering how this will compare to a Platinum or 1794 on the road.

    Thanks,

The ride will be firmer, but handle the crappy roads better. Also the 18 inch wheel with more tire sidewall will ride better than the 20 inch wheels on higher trims.

Edit- also if you are planning on lifting the truck with new wheels and tires, you will have to change the front shocks at the very least. So the TRD package may not be worth it. But it does give you LED lights as well.

Thanks for the feedback. No, I don't plan on lifting my truck. I'd like to get the TRD off road package in the higher 1794 trim but it's SOOO much more money then say a Limited w/ TRD Off Road package. Platinum is nice, but doesn't have any off road chops.

Yeah thats a tough one. I like my Limited. I think everything on the higher trim is just styling differences, except perforated leather and cooled seats. Limited is your best bang for your buck I think. Then you can just change the styling to what you want, such as the grill, color match, etc for less money than a full trim level price difference.

The 1794 is pretty unique though, if you're set on that one.
