AAC Trigger 6 Shooter, midland MTX-115 radio, Chassis Unlimited front bumper, OLB Bar light and ditch lights, Baja Fog lights, Smittybilt winch, Husky floor liners, bed rail, Cali Raised Bed Stiffeners, driver's side grab handle, Wheeler's Offroad front bump stops, Decked Tool Box
2019 Tundra. 5.7l. 4WD. DC. Stage 9 Icon. RTX leaf Option 3. Eibach front springs 700 pound rate. Chassis Unlimited Fab front bumper with Smittybilt winch. Rear Chassis Unlimited Fab bumper. Decked toolbox in bed with recovery gear. Full size tire under bed.

When I had my Icons installed, they initially setup Option 2 for my leaf springs. Which is a middle 'setting'. When I knew I was going to get a rear fab bumper, I had them add the last leaf to make option 3. Which, I believe, supports 700 pounds.

Before the rear fab bumper was added, there was a slight rake in the rear. I kind of liked that look. Added the bumper, and the rake went away after a couple of years. The leaf springs settled.

Recently, I went to Lowes to get a pallet of mulch and when the fork lift put the pallet in, the RTX leaf springs didn't support anything. I guess my math was off because in my head, it should have. The bed dropped down to my sumo springs (bump stops) I had on top of the leaf springs. Stage 9 Icons aren't cheap, and that kind of let me down. Especially since I had to more to add the last leaf.

I decided to look into getting new leaf springs. Spoke to Alcan a bunch of times. They sounded like the best bet. Also, a bunch of people on here have them and recommended.

I also will be upgrading the front springs to an Eibach 800 pound spring rate to support that front fab bumper and winch better. I'm maxed out on the adjustable height of the shocks to get that 3 inch lift. By adding that higher spring rate, I'm hoping it'll support that front weight better, and not have to be maxed out to keep that 3 inch lift.

Sorry for the long story, but wanted to give a picture of my question.

Since I'll be changing things in the front and back. And I want to keep the 3 inch in front, and get a 4 inch lift in the rear (keep a rake). Should I do the front spring upgrade first, and use that as a unit of measure for the leaf springs height?

(I may have answered my own question - LOL). But I'll open it up for suggestions.

    Thank you!
