I just bought a 2018 Tundra and with gas prices soaring here in Toronto I would like to purchase a locking fuel cap. Has anybody bought a locking cap that works for a 2018? The dealership wants $50+tax here, so I was hoping to find a generic locking cap that doesn't set off a dashboard light that is a little more reasonably priced.

    Thanks in advance!

None. They pretty much all cause a CEL for improper sealing.

Dustin you could go this route. Locking fuel door from AMI. Here's a link. I have one and no complaints . Just a Sean mentioned above you want to stay away from aftermarket fuel caps.

I got this one for about month now. So far so good. It's kind of a pain to lock and unlock though. A locked door would be better in my opinion.

I have this one also on my 2018, have been using it for 3 months and have had zero issue with it.

I found that it’s a pain to lock/unlock so I swapped it out witb a lockable door.

It can be a pain but I just deal with it, at least it doesn't leak or make the on dash light go off!
