Hey folks, if you have a good dealership experience or a Toyota specialty repair shop, share it in this thread. The goal is to get the details of which dealerships or shops are actually providing a "customer first" experience and giving customers their money's worth. Then we know which dealership or repair shops to seek out for work or to spend your hard-earned money at.

With your story, please provide the dealership/shop name, location, service advisor name, and technician name...

The goal here is to support good dealership & repair shops. Ideally, this thread could be a quick reference to a reputable dealership or Toyota repair shop in your geographic area.

Thanks to @G3ardnut for suggesting this thread. Joe's idea, not mine...

Yea....I should have known better. I tweaked the thread a bit to maybe gain better traction on this matter.

I can't recommend a Yota dealer locally yet, the 2 I have used SUCKED ! I will throw Kudos to Jensen Auto in Monroe and Trumbull CT. They know Toyota and the associated procedures . They use OEM parts without having to ask, communicate well and the owner will give out his cell to anyone having an issue that is intermittent, so you can call him , and if he is close, he comes to you to see what info he can gather on the problem.

Don't frequent it any more (since I don't live there) but I used to use Seeger Toyota in St. Robert, MO. They were always fantastic - they did what they said they were going to do, and told if you if they couldn't complete work (e.g., if they can't rotate tires or it doesn't make sense to, they'll tell you why). Bought 3 vehicles from them, and I will STRONGLY consider buying my next vehicle from them despite living 1K miles away in Virginia. If you stop by there, say hi to Gerry for me. :)

Yeah this could devolve….. but I will give my .02. I have always had good experiences at darcars Toyota in silver spring, Md. The service advisor (Adrian) and manager (Mehdi) are great to deal with and keep you informed along the way.

The knock on dealerships are typically the expense and the lack of attention to detail. I KNOW when I schedule a service at the dealer that it’s going to cost more (potentially a lot more) than a local shop or doing it myself. Sometimes I am willing to pay that extra expense for peace of mind and for knowing it is done right (or at least know I can take it back there if something goes wrong).

I was really happy with my purchase and occasional service at Gateway Toyota in Edmonton, Alberta. However, I live too far away to use them regularly for now.

Magness Toyota in Harrison AR Has been straight up to deal with. I drive an hour to use their service department when needed. Sales was a great experience also.

So take it or leave it. Second hand. Info for a co worker...
Baldwin auto group in poplar bluff mo has toyota, chevy, ford, buick.
With lifetime unlimited milage warrenty with 0 deductible.
My co worker and his wife uses the buick dealer for all her stuff mainly because if she need something she schedules it they pick it up at her work for free. She works in town they have 310000 miles and on there 3rd transmission and other repairs they covered for 100 percent. No question asked no bs just gave her a car and fixed hers. I was buying me a camery from there for work until my truck went down I need a truck more then a car. Take it or leave it they love the dealership that they use.
