Looks like the LineX guy took my 3 deck rails off, and managed to lose one of the mounting bolts without telling me.

Dude at Toyota dealership said I needed part number 90148-A0006. There isn't much info on this part (no picture, no length, no description) on the online Toyota parts catalogs, so I took a gamble and ordered the one the dealership dude said (on ebay). The bolt I received is too long, and does not have a step-down taper on the end.

So back to the drawing board. Does someone have better part-foo than I do, and can help me with the part number?

Here's the screw I'm talking about:
    DeckRailScrew.jpg

The screw I need is on the left. The alleged "90148-A00006" from random ebay dude is on the right (anybody want it for free?)

    Thanks guys!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. The Toyota dealer is NOT capable in offering any help.

Should be a 90148-A0012.. The 90148-A0006 shows to be for a Tacoma

when the port sprayed in my bedliner, they didn't remove the rails. Installing my bakflip last night, have to move the rails down, and I now have a white ring around the top of my bed....

That's annoying, wonder if that's standard for port sprayed liners. I guess I'll check mine sometime since we're on lockdown.

The frustrating part was that I had to stand there for like 10 minutes while he poked around on his computer trying to find the part diagram. And then he found the wrong one! Especially because I have a obsessive attention to detail, It's astonishing how incompetent people can be. This dude has been behind the parts counter there for years.

That would certainly work, but I wanted the OEM bolt, because I have a 500 pound camper shell that clamps to the deck rails. Turns out the OEM bolt is pretty trick, what with its fancy end taper, not sure why but didn't want to risk anything failing prematurely. Plus I hate having to switch bits halfway through removing something because of a mismatched replacement bolt (I doubt I could easily find a matching bolt in Torx 30 at a box store).

Gosh I guess I'd prefer them losing a bolt to not bothering to take the rails off ... like, what other shortcuts did you take dude?

dunno if its normal (seems strange to me), but they sprayed two of the bed tie down loops and didn't spray the other two. So I have two black and two white...

Decked 2 drawer bed system, custom bed load track system (mcmaster.com, Rail pn:39695T32, Rings pn:39695T36, BedRail bolts pn:92703A167). added switches to override "motion" and activate rear camera on-demand. added 100A breaker protected line from battery to tow pkg, for jumpers/inverter/etc. more to come..
same bolts in my 2015, look here.. https://www.mcmaster.com/94500A237/
I think the taper is just to help you start the thread.
m6x16mm buttonhead cap screw. I did stainless replacements so they don't rust.

Real simple solution: Try your local Boneyard. Or, go to a Toyota dealer's lot and find a truck like yours sitting on the lot and uh, . . . . . you know what to do. You certainly don't need me to tell you.
