    Hey guys,

I'm installing an air compressor push-button switch on the driver's side dash area of my 2018 Limited Tundra.

It requires tapping into a wire that is hot when the key is in the ACC position, i.e. an ignition switch, and a wire whose voltage varies with dash illumination to control the switch's illumination.

I was poking around with my little test light but with the sensitive modern electronics I'm afraid I'm going to fry something. So I thought I'd ask.

Does anyone know where I can tap into the ACC / Dash Illumination wires? Preferable somewhere on / close to the driver's side kickpanel area, rather than behind the radio cluster. Thank you!

I used a wire on one of the non used panels in that area. There was a plug that wasn't being used and used a circuit tester to find the correct wire and spliced into it.
