    Not completely sure if you could use these with your stock bump stops. But you could give them a call. Tell them what kind of lift you have, and maybe they could point you in the right direction.

    You will have to meaure that and shim according.

    Gotta ask, what shocks did you buy? 5100s comes with bump spacers.

    My opinion if you wheel it all you should definitely look into the wheelers superbumps. I have them and they are fantastic!

    The ones that came with my 3 in up front were just like a 1/2 thick washer. Unscrewed, dropped on washer and put right back on. The bolt on the bump stop was pretty long. Mine was the toytec/ eibach lift. Just light to moderate offroad use for me

    If not properly bumped, yes. Imagine the shock being too long and trying to fully compress it. Somethings going to fail. Google spacer lift shock fail. That's what happens when not properly setup.

    The extension wont damage anything, its the lack of adjustment on the compression that will. Based off what Bilstein provides, I'm going to assume that the spacers you bought will limit bump and you may actually be close to riding bumps which will provide a terrible ride. That assumption will not be able to be verified until you install them and look to see the clearance at ride height and how they perform when you drive.

    Your best bet would be reaching out to Bilstein and/or waut and see how large those suckers end up being. The pics may be very deceiving.

    How do they feel during normal highway driving are you able to notice any difference with the superbumps? Do you have the washer spacers or actual bump stop from wheelers?

    Actual bumps

    Dont feel them everyday as your never (typically) compressing the suspension enough. I will say though, hitting the mall speeds bumps fast feels great. Joking aside, I feel they help off-road. Much more controlled compression vs the jarring effect on the stock ones.

    So I think it makes sense now,
    The ones you bought are for spacer lifts (I think). Because spacer lifts sit on top of the coilover, they literally add 1.5-2". So with that said, those spacer are probably to help make that difference up.

    I know a quarter inch spacer on top of the coil equates to a half inch of lift out at the wheel hub. And the bump stops make contact even closer to the frame and a arm mount than where the shock mounts to the lower control arm. So I’d guess that quarter inch spacer on the bump stop makes up for 3/4 of an inch of lift. So a 1 inch spacer on the bump stop would be equal to a 3 inch spacer lift for the CO?

    In theory sounds right. But he is not running a spacer, he is running shocks which provide lift based off preload. That changes things as shock lengths therefore are different.

    So I cannot find stock shock lengths, but I did find the 4600 lengths which I believe are the trd shocks?

    5100
    24.8 ext, 15.33 col

    4600
    23.55 ext, 17.62 col

    Based off this, if the 4600 are OEM on a TRD then running the 5100s without bump spacers should not be an issue.

    Ill see if I can keep digging for black shock specs.
