I am looking for a driver-side pillar grab handle kit in gray (pktungrab), but sparks and everywhere I look says out of stock or on backorder. Does anyone know of a place where I could find this or an aftermarket supply?

UPDATE: I found the handle and pillar and both were $200 including shipping.

It took me about ten minutes to install it and 3 of that was looking for a bolt. I can now pull my old man ass up into the truck a bit easier. It will really help when the truck is parked in the garage and I cannot get the door open all the way.

Just go here and put in the part numbers and find the dealer that has it cheapest and closest to you, shipping is free over $75.

Thank you. I looked it up and it showed up for a couple of dealers in my state. I called them and they don't actually have it but they can get it from another dealer. I went ahead and ordered. There was a HUGE price difference between the dealers. The schematics also really suck and don't always show the correct assembly accoring to other sites and images. I hope the PN's above are for the driver's side.

I got tired of waiting after about 8 months of "two more weeks" from Sparks and the local dealer, so I sourced one at a salvage yard. Near new condition and was only $50 shipped. Nice not having to wait any more and saving ~$140.

Sparks did eventually get some in, but it looks like they are backordered again.

Was there any trick at all to removing the original pillar trim? Any surprises?

I went to the stealership today. I got brutally prison-raped on the price, but I got my trim and grab handle. :)

Not really. Pop out the plug, remove bolt, wiggle cover out starting at top.

    Impatience always has a cost.

No trick on the swap but don't forget you do have to trim part of the replacement pillar trim.

Will I need to source out a clip-on captive nut like this one here? I only bought the pillar trim and the handle, no hardware kit.

Yes, and you will need a longer bolt too. Both can be had at your local hardware atore.

The first stealership I called had one the next morning at 8AM. I paid through the nose. $260 for the trim and the handle.

The very next day I saw a guy on facebook parting out a 2013 about five miles down the road. Of course.

Exactly :D:D:D I was happy until I found about it....now my truck will never be the same and feels sluggish and outdated until I find one!

Joking aside, if anyone knows a good source to get them at a decent price please let me know, I'm located in North Miami Beach if that helps.

    Thanks!

You might not want it as much as you think you want it. I put the handle in my 2020 and then found that I never used it. I have a 2016 now and don't plan on installing one. When I had it in my 2020 I kept having flashbacks to the crash test dummy smashing his head into it everytime I looked at it.

I get what you say but I'm not a tall guy so I have found myself missing it but didn't think there was an option to install it. Also, that way my wife will have a break not having to carry me to the driver's seat all the time.....:D:D:D. JK

Oh I get it, it's the reason I installed one in my 2020 but it's one of those thing that you do then realize I really didn't need that. BTW I'm 5'8" and with running boards I just wasn't using it.

Trying to place my order but part number for Pillar is coming up as 62220-0C060-B0 not 62220-0C050-B0. Is this the same? There are no results for 62220-0C050-B0

Got it figured out, because the site knows I have a 2021, it would only show me pillar trim for my year. Deleted my vehicle and the 050 part number comes up.

    Not sure at this point.
Make sure you get the U-clips and bolt from Lowe’s or HD.

Thanks for tip. I guess I'll have to wait until I disassemble to see exactly what I need. Good to know I can get at Lowes, thanks.
