First time posting. Might be a stupid question but here goes. Just got rid of my first generation Tundra Sr5 and bought the 2020 SR5. I had new aftermarket 20's on the 1st generation with universal bolt pattern. Will they fit the 2020 ?

No. First gens were 6 lug. All newer tundras are 5x150 with a 110mm hub. This is a very specific size and a universal 6 lug will not work.

How do you feel about Adaptor to change bolt pattern. Are they safe ? Those wheels ran $2400. Would like to keep them

Never seen anybody that makes a 5 to 6 lug adapter or any other adapter that increases or decreases studs. You can’t build a 5 lug 110 mm adapter and then put 6 studs with a smaller bolt pattern. The physical material isn’t there.

Ok. Thank You. Guess I'll have to invest in a new set of wheels to get the stance I want. Thanks again. Have a Great Day.....

Call Jim at Wheel Outfitters in Tampa. They should be able to make adapters for you. 813-971-7722. They have helped us out more than a few times, and can make anything if they don’t have it on the shelf - pretty sure they can do this for you. They can also redrill wheels, and lots of other things..

Good morning. Ok. Called Jim. He said that the adapters would cost over $600 to have them made. Guess I'm gonna have to spring for new wheels.

Welcome to the site. Your wheels look to be in good shape; you should be able to sell those to recover some of the cost of new ones.
    Enjoy the new truck.

Depending on the width/offset of the old wheels, they might stick out farther than you like with the spacer. Good news is chevy guys can buy your old ones

I’d highly recommend Hub Cap Haven. I bought some refurbished TRD Pro wheels for $230/wheel. And they looked brand new and still look awesome
