Excuse my ignorance as having new wheels installed Friday. The ET lugs came with an adapter. Is that a reasonable security solution or do I need to buy actual wheel locks? The adapter looks like something your average thief wouldn't have.

    Appreciate the input.

If it's anything like mine....the adapter is specific to my wheels.

I'm not saying it's 1 in 1000, but highly unlikely a thief would have a spline key for my rims on him.

If I want another key, I have a specific code that I must provide to the vendor and it will match the spacing on mine.

All 25 of my lugs use the spline key, not just 1 per rim. Gorilla brand.
