Replacing my hubs tomorrow to try to fix my lights that are on and somewhere I read that it could be the abs wheel speed sensor and at O'Reilly's 1 is $135! Should I go ahead and buy 2 just in case they are bad or how can I tell? 4hi 4lo and VSC flash abs and traction control constant on. Also driving home this morning being easy no lights but as soon as I gave it some gas speedo jumped and lights came on

Don't shoot the parts cannon on a hunch. Drive it to Oreallys, Autoshack, etc and have them scan it for active fault codes. Come back here and post what they are.

    That's wild.

Ok, still don't shoot the cannon. Maybe use this to try and determine your issue:

When I had a abs sensor go out I took it to 2 dealers with expensive ob2 readers and neither showed anything. Took it to a mom and pop shop with a small more basic scanner and told me front left abs sensor

make sure whatever scanner they used reads more than just engine codes. you need one that will reach abs codes and if its the speed sensor it will return a code with description telling you which one is misfiring - if you find out which one it is check the ABS wire as well.

My friends I used will read abs we used it on a Ford I had to figure out which one was bad but none I've used will show any codes for anything, I found an old thread that said could be a axle? Said there was something in the knuckle that reads it and it gets crusty over time and fails....?
