At what point has a Tundra not been driven enough, relative to its age? How many miles and /or how often is "enough"?

Would too few miles constitute a red flag when looking at a used truck?

Not a red flag necessarily. Just not something I would be interested in overpaying for at a certain age. Stuff still decays over time: hoses, belts, wiring, etc.

And if it’s older with really low miles, then that means it just sat. Did rodents ever make a home in it? Do I want to pay a premium for a truck whose drivetrain just sat and sat and sat for years and years? That’s a no from me dawg

Zactly. I'm no mechanic, but I know "just sitting" isn't good for any machine of any kind. Just wondered if there were any rules of thumb or informed opinions on the subject.

Funny side note ... outboard mechanic last year didn't really want to work on my '95 Merc 60 I had with 50 hours on it. Beautiful, immaculate old motor that had "just sat" in an air conditioned garage all those years. I had to sweet talk the guy into looking at it.
