I recently replaced my OEM fuel injectors, but now I'm unsure what to do with them. The eBay crowd doesn't seem that interested in them, and I don't have an ultrasonic bath to clean them in and rebuild them myself. What have others done with theirs? Is there a place to get a core price for them anywhere? Does anyone here want them to rebuild? They work fine, they were just old and dirty and I wanted to replace them since they were cheap.

Keep em. Soak em in some diesel to clean them. The aftermarket ones I have used over the last few years have been… substandard.

You can't buy an ultrasonic cleaner on Alibaba for $10?

Some folks on here have put them up in the 1st Gen marketplace for a nominal amount of $$ (like 20 bones, IIRC) for others to pick up and clean. I'd do the same.

I don't toss old parts if they're still serviceable, not until I get rid of the vehicle, and not until I see if anyone else needs them.

This ultrasonic cleaner on the eBay is for glasses but is only $11 bucks and is exactly fuel injector sized! I was assuming they were hundreds, but for a Hamilton I may rebuild them...

Yeah I'll probably toss them on there if I decide against the budget ultrasonic. I would keep them as spares but the seller I bought the new ones from messed up and sent me two 8-packs instead of just one. I plan on keeping at least half of them just in case they decide to give out.

    Thanks everyone!

I’m sure there’s a reason they use more expensive ones for your injectors. lol

You could potentially reach out to a company that sells remanufactured injectors.

I also remember watching a Timmy the Toolman video where he talks about a company where you can send them your existing injectors and they will clean them and send them back. You could potentially have them cleaned and then sell them at a higher price. Not sure what the video was. You can probably type in something related to fuel injectors.
