So my new 1794 Limited Edition is at the dealership which is 3 hours away from my house. My friend ordered a new Tacoma from them and is still waiting on it to arrive, we'll be driving out together to pick them up.
Since the dealership is so far away I want to make sure that everything is with the truck when I arrive, I don't want to drive away with something missing. I've read on other threads that owners manuals haven't been given, only one key fob, no valet key. The truck did not come with any options, the only thing listed on the dealer spec sheet under "Installed packages & Accessories" is door edge guards, Saddleback Editon and Owner's Portfolio.
From the spec sheet it looks like the things I need to look for are the 1794 LE all weather floor mats and the 4 adjustable tie down cleats on the deck rail system.
Anything else I'm not thinking about?
I know the 1794 LE comes with several additional saddle leather pieces but I'm not sure what they should be, old press releases say an overnight bag, 2 key fob covers, 2 smaller pouch/bags and a tool roll.

    Anything I'm missing?

    None yet ;-)
I've always wondered about the retractable step to get into the bed. Wasn't that a build option at one point on the 1794??

Are you watching what is happening with these new gen engines? Are you aware of the recall that hasn't been expanded to the 24.......yet? I would do a little homework before you roll the dice. Your buddy might want to research his decision also. Tacoma World website has the details on those engine problems. Things simply aren't as they appear at the moment. Good luck to you both!

I pick up my new 2024 Limited Edition in Midnight Black this Saturday.

I'm driving from Richmond Virginia to Shereville Indiana to trade in my 2023 1794 for my new baby. Going to be a fun roadtrip with me leaving Friday morning and arriving back home Sunday afternoon.

I got $9,000 off MSRP and nearly 56k for my 1794 so I'm pretty happy with the deal.

I believe you may be able to get it on any trim level. Think I remember seeing it on the options page under the build section.

Am I watching it? How could I not, you're posting it all over the place but thanks for keeping me informed.
You roll the dice with any vehicle you buy whether it be this or any other. It comes with a warranty that will cover any problems that may arise. Does the recall warrant not buying the vehicle, not for me. The production date of the truck is 3/24 and yes, I'm aware that does not mean the engine was built on that date and may have been built in January of 23. The dealership is roughly 175 miles away. Before the recall was even announced I planned on changing the oil and filter as soon as I got home. The truck has 23 miles on it and I'll be requesting that the dealership do an oil/filter change before I pick it up because of the recall. If they don't want to, so be it, can't hurt to ask.
Sorry, my friend isn't on any Tacoma forums, if he was I'd let you know so you could try and panic him and other forum members also.

I can see your that constant troll that likes to stir the pot, the type that thinks that whatever vehicle you own is the best and no other can compare. That's okay, have your fun, you do you, it's all good.

Congrats on your new truck! I think you'll really enjoy it. The leather in the LE is pretty nice. It kinda sucks that people can't really post anything now without someone jacking the thread about the damn engine failures, lol.
