what OEM air filter to use

    own a 2016 tundra time for a air filter change Toyota is showing two options for this year my question is which one to use? Thanks r.c.

    Assuming you have a 5.7L engine, 17801-0P100 is the one you want

    Might be worthwhile to open the air filter housing and verify the filter is paper with foam rubber surround. If so, 17801-0P100 is correct. If the filter is white synthetic appearing material (almost felt or cloth in appearance) built in a substantial plastic frame, its the other filter part number.

    Yea I noticed this when I got home from the parts department at dealer. They seem to have more plets though. I'm going to use them and don't see a reason that makes me scared.

    285/70/18, Eibach Protruck 2.0 suspension
    There are 2 versions (unsure why)
    A charcoal one which I have in my (2016 5.7) and one with a plastic cage around it (I made mistake of getting that one first time) it didnt fit was too big. So I got the 0P100 version.

    Small thread "Different Air Filters" will show you the considerable size difference between the 17801-0P100 and the Toyota Economy Line 17801-YZZ15.
