I’m trying to install a brake controller in my 2015 Limited and there is a white loom blocking its location. What is this? Do I need to reroute it somehow?9B0FB7DF-6D78-47E6-9435-7B059063A141.jpg

I think it has something to do with the auto climate control. Temp sensor or something for in cab.

I wonder if it needs to have that upward loop or can it be disconnected and rerouted under the controller?

Yes. It's just the ambient air sensor for your auto climate control, so you can route the loom however you want as long as the sensor is in place.
