Just got a 19 20191025_060856.jpg Tundra TRD for work. We had a flashing yellow light and a 4000 watt inverter installed. This little box fell out from behind panel that above brake pedal. It's close to the plug to access computer. Wondering if anyone knows what it is. it has a button and that's it. no branding. I unplugged it and everything is still working, ie lights, inverter, interior lights. Thanks

That is a KARR alarm, you know, the ones dealers buy for $29 and install on all new cars then try to sell it to you for $600 when you're signing papers, even on vehicles that come with a standard manufacture alarm like the Tundra. When I bought my 2014 not only did I say no, I had them write in the sales contract that they would remove every sign of that POS including replacing the interior panel they drilled 2 holes in to install it.

it's common for dealerships to get contracts with third-party companies trying to push their aftermarket devices. The company will install these devices on every vehicle in the lot. Then the dealer tries to sell these products to their customers at an outrageous markup. I brought a new Volkswagen back to the dealership and demanded to know what the hell was wired into my car. I was pretty upset because it looked like cheap Amazon Chinese garbage. This was the explanation that they gave me.
