    Brand new cabin air filter!
    Morning all,

Just got back from a road trip the other day and during it my tpms light came on. I've already attempted resetting it with the reset button and drove it around town for a bit and it remains on(maybe I'm just being impatient).
I thought that maybe when I did a recent dash disassembly that maybe the reset button got disconnected so I thought I'd get in there and check. The reset button looks like it's connected just fine but I found this loose connector.
Anything I need to concern myself about with it being disconnected? Is it for the push start ignition equipped tundras?

And any tips on getting that dang top plastic clip to line up on this trim piece? My OCD kicks in a little with this.

Update: Got it! Didn't think to remove the clips from the truck. D'oh!

The connector behind the lower dash could be the OEM trailer brake controller wiring or another option your trim level didn't come with...looks to be trailer controller to me...

Rear Sway bar, TRD dual exhaust, HR Light front hood light bar, front grille and bumper chrome deleted. Replaced all parts with smoked mesquite
Reconnect the wire and your TMS light should go off. The button switch is located just above your right knee under the dash to reset the TPMS.

Update: After I bit of city driving I started to hear a clanking sound. Put the TPMS light and clanking sound together to find that one of the sensors broke off inside the tire. I already got it fixed just this past Friday. The connector however still remains unplugged. It does however have a little blank spot for it to sniggly sit in(you can see it in the picture. I'm thinking what @HulkSmurf14 said may be correct, perhaps a feature my truck didn't come with :monocle:

Chances are your clips came off and they are stuck in the truck body.
Pull that piece off and you should have 2 clips on it.
They have a funky angle to them.

If they are stuck in the truck body pry them out with one of these.

Then replace them in the panel and it should go all the way in.

Thanks! That was bugging the heck out of me for so long. Couldn't get that panel to seat right so it was loose. I still need to fix the pass side.
