I learned that my 14 starts governing speed at about 110 MPH. Kind of weird. Apparently shuts the fuel pump off and back on until you slow down.
What about you? What did you learn today?

Did you learn this from someone else or did you hit a buck ten in a truck today?

Time to get a tune...you know, so you can drive in Mexico, legally and at speed. I've hit 130+ in mine, but that was for testing purposes only...in Mexico.

Lmao I was in Mexico running from the cartels at 113 when acceleration just flattened out.

That sounds terrible! ;) You only need two things to remove the plateau from driving...boost and a tune! Woot woot!:mudding:

Ah, I like the speculative factors... exhaling in Cali is already illegal, but there are ways around it.

I learned that just now when I was running late getting back to the office after going to my RV storage place, I could've gone 17 MPH faster.

Oh, I also learned that with Tow/Haul on, it'll pull just as hard as the Mustang behind me who wanted to get past me as the onramp went from two lanes to one. :burnrubber: Not sure who was more surprised, him or me.

Dang. I’m coming up on 9 years of ownership of my Tundra, and have never once felt the need to find out “what she’ll do.” I already know she’ll do things for me that my wife won’t, and I don’t expect speed on top of that. The ol’e motorcycle on the other hand? Sheesh. We won’t talk about that here.

Yep, every vehicle I've ever had I've always topped it out. Just something I like to do at least once. I rode motorcycles too. Good times

Only time I ever hit over 100, is on the snowmobile.
Feels far more dangerous and personal since you are basically unprotected and low to the ground.
    Closest thing to flying.

My truck I drive like an old man.

Hit 150 on my FZ750 Genesis....
It still had more to give but I decided that was fast enough!!!
When the road starts to look like a sidewalk it's time to slow down!!
And with barbed wire fence on both sides all I could think about was one of those wire cheese cutters......

Ummmmmm......you had an Yamaha FZ750?? Welllllll it's truly a small world. I had the FZ700!!! It would also do 150 mph and did it many times when I was aboard.

Yeah...rode motorcycles most of my life.
Got my first bike when I was around 11.
The GT80....didnt know it at the time but it was a dog that could barely get out of it's own way.
Then came the YZ80...thats when I learned what a real Motorcycle was!!
My last Bike was a Yamaha Warrior. The Wife had a fit when I wanted to get another Crotch Rocket.
So I compromised and went with the Warrior.
Little did She know the thing was a Beast!!!
It may have looked like a Cruiser but it was far from it!!!
I'd buy another today but we have retirement plans that are going to eat up most of our extra money for the next several years.
And with me pushing 60 I dont even want to think about the recovery time if I were to lay it down.
Trying to get that adrenaline Rush with the Truck is kinda tough.
Back in my offroading days it was easy enough to get that Rush by doing Crazy Shit!!!
When the Wife wanted to get out of the Truck I knew I was on the the right path!!!
While I love the Lake it's kinda hard to get a Rush on the Water.
I really Miss it though....nothing like risking your life to get the Blood Flowing!!!

The Wife was always scared to ride on the back.
Went to the beach and while there we Met a Dude and His Chick.
    He had the same Bike.
We rode together on the way home and made it in record time!!!
What usually took a couple hours we did in an hour and 15 minutes!!
She was beating on me the whole way Home!!!
If I remember correctly it was the last time She got on a Bike with me!!
