Yeah I paid to have my truck artic coated so perhaps that's playing a big role in my love for beadmaker. I found the 1st time and each additional time I've used it I only needed a handful of sprays to cover each panel. Also, I've only applied it after a wash while still wet. Granted most of the water just beads up and drips off from my coating, but the very little that remains I've found great to mix with the beadmaker. I'm guessing though that my coating is playing a big role in my love for it, but i definitely do notice the things that u mentioned like being slicker, it's ability to propel dirt, bugs, dust, water ect. In combo with the coating it just makes the truck look super slick. But again, i noticed the coating have a major impact alone as well. However between the two, it just seems like a perfect combination.

Yeah that's definitely tough conditions to keep from water spots. I cant say I have the same battle. However I've found that after I wash my truck I go back and wet each panel before applying the beadmaker, that way it essentially never has a chance to dry. Granted most of the water just beads off due to my coating, but I no longer even bother drying my truck after a wash.

Just pressure wash heavy stuff off. 1 round of foam cannon and rinse, a second round of foam cannon and wash with microfiber mit, then total rinse. Before any panel can dry I just keep going around wetting each one before they can dry. That's when the final dry comes in with a microfiber and beadmaker. I just spray with beadmaker and wipe dry each panel, 1 by 1 while keeping the others from drying. Seems to work pretty great for me, however like I said before, I have a feeling the coating is playing a large role in my results.

I'd say I definitely can notice it for 4 weeks or more. That's daily driven and parked near construction sites on a daily. Taken off road every 2 weeks or so too. However it is garaged and like i said before, I believe the artic coating plays a huge role. Between the two it seems like a perfect marriage. Seems like both products play extremely well together and compliment each other pretty perfectly. I'm very happy with both. Lately I've been going a bit longer than a month without washing too. Seems like a decent rain without my truck moving provides a pretty decent free wash. The truck dries quickly when I drive it. Even when it's pretty filthy it still looks pretty good. They definitely make a pretty big difference imho.

EF537956-D6B1-4533-BB4B-7C8F68952474.jpg Yesterday day was a big mod day. Been busy with other projects and have a bunch of “winter purchased mods” sitting around and decided to spring the cash and have my local buddies at a shop do all the work.
(Thanks to some forum advice, I went with installing new OEM rotors and TRD pads). Tire rotation, install spider trax 1.5, spacers, remove the 1 inch rear block lift and replace with coachbuilder 1 inch shackles, install TRD rear sway bar. LOL and replace front signal light bulb. Chris, the mechanic, even took it out to properly condition the rotors and pads. When I arrived, he says, “what are we doing today, and how old are you?” She is driving very nicely
Cant wait to install the set of bushwhacker pocket flares I had painted to match.

As it happens, they were working on a Ram half-Ton Hemi and a Honda Fit on the other lifts, which gave me a chance to look as the Dodge close up ... coil spring rear suspension with springs half the size of the tundra front coil overs. Front end is minuscule compared to the tundra. I was talking to the mechanic working on it and said “this looks like they put a truck body on a car frame”. He chuckled and said yah. It’s pretty fast for now but the engine will croak st 80k.

Will do. Just took a couple pics at the garage. The last pic is with the spacer installed with more offset.

Decided to clean up the engine bay and try to protect all the plastic and rubber hoses. Noticed this crack in the hose under the cover. Should I be concerned about it? Didn’t appear to be all the way through and I’m not 100 percent what it is for. 65537316-DF96-4B1C-AB36-AE10B80A6174.jpg 3591CB1B-1CE6-471C-B734-63A9AD0C1C6A.jpg AC4A5B0F-C6A0-45F9-B544-CE87DA2DB8C9.jpg

That looks like insulation around a pipe rather than a hose, it is probably okay. I am not sure what it is though. I will go look when I get home.

Thanks. That does sound like a possibility as it did feel like it had foam in. Didn’t squeeze too hard as I wasn’t sure if it was important.

Once the summer is over this is high on my to do list. Gonna fully detail the undercarriage as well. Looking good man!

Definitely looks to be insulation around another hose. Possibly a PCV line or something of the sort.
