I have them in gloss black... they completely block the chrome vs the tvd which still show chrome. Wish they made them for the toyota pro grill, same issue with the tvd covers- can see the original color behind them!

I had the same issue, just ended up with the one rectangle piece. I think the other two go in the back doors. The doors have several pieces in the trays, I think those two go there. I did the same thing.

Wash and first time using Bead Maker. Really happy with the results for the amount of time spent. 86813F32-1FB6-4906-8E6D-171B8BB8187A.jpg

I've thought about getting these, I have the TVD and the sliver of chrome while not blinding like before, bothers me that I can still see it if I look for it o_O. I just wonder if I'd be able to get them off ok now.
Are these the TufSkinz or other? I have the tufskinz but didn't get anything for the door handle inserts. I always found it "cheap" that Yota put what looks to be carpet padding in the door handles...
Please school me on this! Does it go after wash, after wax? Before wax? Looks good, I just don't know what it's purpose is... This is coming from a guy who hasn't hand washed his truck in over a year... I feel like a bad father :(.

    To much to list:)
You can use it before, after, while drying after washing, and after you dry it after you wash it. On the bottle it says works best after you wash and dry it, you can also put it on after you wax it. It’s good on everything!!!:) It’s a protector and last a good while, repels water, dirt, stuff like that and keeps a nice shine on your vehicle. Wife and I got hooked after one use it helps keep the car cleaner and is easier to wash and her Highlander is always shiney as well as my Black Tundra Sport!! Good stuff:)

All I did today was wash with my pressure washer and foam cannon, dry, spray on the Bead Maker and wipe off.

My paint is reasonably clean but I don’t have enough time to maintain it as much as I’d like. I last used a clay bar on it over a year ago, and I use a polish and polymer sealant every six months or so to try to keep it clean, most recently in March. The Bead Maker today brought it back to looking how it did right after I last put the sealant on.

This is pretty much what I do as well. About every 6 months she gets a good wax, but in between the Bead Maker keeps her sparkling.

After checking prices again, I think I’ll stick with mine. $20 - 2 gals makes 8 32oz bottles. 8!! I have three vehicles to maintain so it makes the most sense. But seriously, I can’t imagine a drying agent working any better than the one I’m using. I haven’t waxed my truck in 6 months. I use this every wash.

Question for you, how did you get the shifter trim to reattach? It looks like I would have to break the tabs and then it wouldn't stay on after.

Looks great, blue ribbon is the sexiest color out there, especially when it's all shined up like that. Nice job. What drying agent are you using that you speak of? Its hard to argue with those results at that cost.

I had to order this stuff at $20. Dilution is 15/1. So A 32oz bottle only needs 2 oz, the rest use distilled water for zero water spots.

Nice. I really like most everything I have tried from griots. Based on a few recent experiences, stick with what works!!! And that griots looks amazing

Can't blame ya on price. I want to say for 1 gallon of P&S I got it on sale for high 20s. So to get 2 gallons for 20 seems like an awesome deal if it works as good. Ur truck does look great in pics.

I've found the beadmaker to last a long time. How long does the one your using retain it's hydrophobic properties? Like you I love using it as a drying agent, only thing is I don't feel like it could use more for quite some time. It definitely makes the paint look great and repels water, dust, ect. for a good bit after application. I doubt using it each time after a wash could hurt it, I just don't know if there's a real benefit to use each and every time after a wash. I guess it also depends how often the truck is bring washed too. Either way truck looks great with it.

I use beadmaker too and it definitely looks good and leaves a slick feel and love it. Unfortunately to do it right, you need to use a ton of product, pretty much a full 16oz bottle the first time you use it. After that it can be just a few sprays per panel. I find it works better on dry paint rather than a drying aide. There are many products better in some ways than beadmaker and cheaper too, for the purpose of being a drying aid there are lots of good ones out there. That being said, i use it and love it and will keep using it unless something much better comes along. It's not very economical but we spend money on worse things. I'm surprised you are finding it to be durable and long lasting...I seem to get 4 or less weeks, that's if I can bring myself to not apply more in the mean time. I tend to use it every week or 2 lol. I have a base of ceramic. Then hydro2/reload that does the majority of the work, the beadmaker is all about the shine for me, gives that warm, deep, waxed look by just spray on and wipe off. Also makes washing easier and repels sap and bug guts from sticking. That griots rinsless wash sounds like a great deal and is easy more versatile than beadmaker. Griots garage makes some really good stuff, this is something I may have to try sooner or later. Not that I need to add to my collection of detailing stuff.

Gotcha. I wash her about once a week. The wind here blows like crazy and the truck looks like it sat in a junkyard for a month. I like to use the spray every time because of water spots. I’m in the desert, it was 110F today. So water spots are impossible to avoid when drying without fighting and cursing and racing the devil to dry her off before they cook into the paint.
Looks great when I’m done, and the Blue Ribbon shows spots like crazy. But thanks for the info, I’m always looking for a great detail product.

That's a guess, it's on top of some premium sio2 sealants, so I can only guess its losing its efficacy when the slickness starts to decline. Also it is garaged most of the time, and babied quite a bit.
