Is this a vinyl or plastic? How was the install?

 

It's kinda like a plastic or rubbery type material, it's hard to explain. I had a 2008 Tacoma xsp package one time and it had the carbon fiber dash kit, factory installed. But it has a sticky back that just sticks on. It's high quality. I had the Tacoma for 8 yrs and it never peeled up anywhere.

 

Do you know how many times I have said that exact phrase! Followed by I’m never getting back on here again.

 

I see what you’re saying, but the metal actually sheared off the plastic pins with the movement of the frame and body.

@Inquiringone It's a 30 min job. Just have a towel to lay on your truck so you can lay the headlight assemblies on when you take each one out and put the LED one on.

 

@Hammerdog you forgot to lock it up...the wallet...we all are there, be there done there and done or doing there. Sorry man.

 

Can't lay under the truck for about two more months. I'm a little under the weather presently.
But thanks for all your tips, I really appreciate you for that.

 

installed TRD rear sway bar.....absolutely wonderful....tightened up the truck perfectly! No more wallowing about.

CarID.com or Autoanything.com, they have all types of carbon fiber colors and patterns for both interior and exterior parts. Much easier than the Vinyl wraps

 

I tapped in to the rear of my trailer plug, looks a lot cleaner just map the wires

 

Nice. Just ordered mine and getting the @iHacker harness as well.

 

Tires arrived yesterday and picked up my wheels from the powdercoat shop today.

 

You're gonna be a happy man when you get that all installed. Great choice going with @iHacker harness.

 

2 years/17k miles later, time to replace EOM in cabin filter with K&N washable filters. 5 minute job saved me $90 from factory labor and parts

 

Just a habit for me.

Finally shed those chrome bumper end caps for painted ones!!

 

@BlueRibbon4x4 have you thought about the rivet that allows you to use bolts? I can't remember what it's called though

 

They are called Rivnuts

 

This is where they came from. Another member on here had posted a pic and I asked the same question. He had one set left over and was kind enough to send me his spare set since they come with 2 from the vendor.
