tailgate letters, K&N air filter, dechromed 4/6 emblems (ebay) and 17" AntennaMastsRus.

grille, mirror caps, door handles, dual exhaust and ARE overland cap over the next month or so. along with an xpel wrap. still deciding on if i want to color match bumper caps or just black em out to match the valance.

ALSO noticed the serious orange peel along the lower portion of the door panels. sucks that's where we're at with paint finish quality on new cars these days.

I could not even get a grip inside the wheels good enough to lift off the floor. I tried putting it on the end of the ladder, it was even heavier. That was a folding ladder my dad gave me, I just extended all the way so the angle isn’t so steep and the rungs helped hold the tire as I rolled it up.

I hear ya. Thats why I said even doing it your way, which was much smarter, probably was no easy task either. Here comes my sexist remark, especially for a female.

I remember how hard it was to get my old 295/70r18 4 rims and tires, plus the new spare 35x12.5 on 17 up there. I want to say the tire alone is 84 lbs lol.

Unfortunately I not only didn't have a ladder or ramp at the shop I picked them up at, but I also had to get 3 of them up there a bit even higher onto my bed cover. 2 fit on the bedslide in my bed, but the other 3 had to go onto my cover. Those 3 onto the cover after putting the 2 on the bed slide kicked my ass. That's coming from a guy who's always lifting heavy shit stupid shit. My day to day is working with big ass, heavy, loud, equipment and tools for a living.

Looking back at it, if I had your option, I'm not going to lie, I probably wouldn't have been too proud to use it. Since I turned 40 I'm all about working smarter not harder.

I commend you, regardless of how it went, just for getting that up there. I noticed u had to go a little higher too onto the decked storage.

I can help. I got all the tools needed. I think if you can bolt down a rail that runs across the bed and drill at the ends it.. I've seen the ones where you can mount to your rails too

Thanks Mike! When i was younger i always had to do things around the house, put together a tv stand, small shelf, a garage cabinet...took me a while to grow out of the feeling getting picked on by a parent, but those tasks make me be self-sufficient. Of course delegating chores to a guy or bf helps, but so satisfying to get it done myself, just got to figure it out fIrst and then ask for help if its over my pay grade
I am turning 50 this year! Lots of things harder to do on my body but im not in a wheelchair and am healthy so i can do a lot of things! You are still young! Your best years are ahead of you!

I got by bed rails from a member, i need to find better screws cuz parts of the rail are not tight to the bed. I have my KB Voodoo rack on its way and it attaches on the rails so need that solid. Just need to pull of one screw and go to ace hardware, just not enough time to do all this! :angrygirl: Then we have the trail run in the morning!! Sooooo excited!!

You can get self tapping screws and add a little more “umph” to the rails. I did that with mine.
