Nice! Did you wire the emblem to the parking light circuit or the fuse box?

It's not 100% accurate but it gives u an idea when you're between ur optimal tongue weight for the hitch. It shows between 400-1200 I believe but don't have in front of me at moment. It's pretty simple scale of a screw mounted between a metal bracket slide. 1 on both upper n lower sides of hitch. So basically the screw won't move if less than 400 lbs and will slide as pressure is put on torsion bar. It will slide all the way to other side and stop at 1200 lbs. So it doesn't given an exact readout of tongue weight but it will let u know when you're between those optimal tongue weights for the best ride. The key is getting enough tongue weight to cause the hinges to bend hitting bumps, just not too much over 1200 lbs where u won't get the feel of the spring up effect. Kinda hard to explain but u can prob see it better with illustrations on the gen y website. Theres tons of videos too showing that plusbit in motion. Theres couple people showing youtube videos but they did not get the proper size. They went too big and don't have enough tongue weight to cause it to flex. That's the key. With a 2 inch receiver and our trucks tow ratings that's why I went with 10 k over 16k. I don't think I'd get the proper flex out 16k for some of my lighter tow loads once in while.

Sooo happy with the outcome. Light bar will be in tomm, and will be installed sunday!! I saw that some had some issues with rubbing on the grille.. no shims and have plenty of room. Going to attempt to install functioning sensors in the side panels. Anyone tried this yet? 20180621_095531.jpg 20180621_083702.jpg

Thanks for the info, I was worried about having enough tongue weight for the spring effect to work. My camper is a pop up and not very heavy on the tongue so I'm not sure if I would get the full advantage of the torsion system. I'm still shopping for an adjustable hitch setup, I liked the last one you had but looked like it would hang way to low for me and hit on dips, I have been looking at the b&w tow and stow as well. I saw your post on the gen y and it looks good, I think for me I might just get the non torsion offset and then I can add a bike rack when towing the camper. Thanks again for the info!
