Added some rock lights. Wired them to the LED lights in my bed. That way they come on when I unlock/open the doors and I can control them via the cargo light switch71fe7037e8a031f76c3dadc991431535_39bc1f28fbf989039c7fb562b5cba6ab458a86b0.jpg2352835b5530f23efe35807a9f934f23_0258f63fd0dc448da024e3554f2ca07bd6bb750e.jpg7e08e8eb1c127118e47d13f52be1c582_0e4242acc5828a525c25a803aa79becd4cee0fc2.jpg

    Yesterday..

Mounted the brackets for my water system in the spare tire area. They're 1/4" thick angled bars and bolted together using grade 9 hardware (front part of bracket reuses two of the tow receiver's bolts). The picture only shows one tank held in place for mock but there will be two of the same tank there once done. They're each 12 gallons of water that my pump will pull from. I still have to make a skid plate for the bottom of the water tanks and add supports to the long bolts to brace the skid when it smashes on rocks.

The tank comes with fittings/hoses for filling it up, venting it in cases of overflow, draining it, and another outlet for a pump to feed into. I'll be routing both tanks into a Y-fitting with a valve to close one tank or the other. The fitting will then route to a pump. The pump will then route to more hoses for a kitchen sink, showers, and a secret idea that no one has ever done on any offroad truck before.

Gonna run hose around the exhaust so you can have hot water as well? lol

Haha, I did plan on finding out a way to use the exhaust heat to warm water up. I think you just gave me an option. :)

Kris I thought I laid in bed at night and dreamed up mods. Holy Shit man ! I think I guessed the secret option off your water tank. You're installing a porta-potty with a bedit water feature ? On a serious note, any concerns with that tank hanging low and decreasing your departure angle ? I know you sit pretty high with those 40's, may be the angle from here. Keep modding Kris

Sadly I was a mark today, I had just gone to the bank for a hundred dollars in quarters, a trip I have done thousands of time, but today I was a little careless and stopped by a Walmart on the way home, maybe because it was quarters or whatever reason but normally I'm not so careless.

More than likely they saw me walking out with a little bank bag, and more than likely I was follow, they did a good job of it because I remember catching two yellow lights before Walmart. They went straight for the bag in the center console and that's it.

    Oh well, live and learn.

Texted my cousin that works in the parts department, got a oem glass within a hour, Two hours later we were installing it.

Pretty dumb criminals.. I'd steal from you before you got in the bank since most businesses with bank bags make deposits and not cash withdrawals.. Sucks though, I'm sorry it happened.
