It’s a super easy install. Not sure why I waited so long either!

What have most people done with the plastic left over piece after installing your grab handle? I decided to throw mine away (just now) because it was taking up space in my garage cupboard and I don't see any way I'd ever re-install it.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much was just the installation cost? I’m trying to get a ballpark on installation since there is a vendor here who sells the Katzkin sets. PM me if you don’t want to share publicly. Thanks for any help!

The front windows have no tint. The rear windows have factory tint which is part of the glass, you cannot remove it. You can tint over it if you want it darker.

No such thing as a stupid question. ;)

Husky X-act, front windows tint, Xpel PPF, center console organizer and tray, TRD rear sway bar, touch screen cover, transmission cooler, wireless charger, keyless tailgate lock.
The rear factory tint doesn’t offer any UV protection as far as I can tell. I plan to have a clear film with UV protection installed to help with heat gain and protect the interior.

I'll say if you truly want sliders then no. If you want a step that looks like a slider than your call to go for it or not. These aren't a true slider like sdhq, wkor, demello, ect..... You will also notice a bigger price difference on a true slider. All the sliders I researched were around a grand and up. For example you wouldn't want to jack your truck up by the smittybuilt, you probably couldn't expect to bang them off rocks without a good chance of them bending. Not my personal experience on the smittybuilt, just what I've heard. Seeing the price difference too I'm guessing that's why, they're not built the same to take the abuse a true slider will. Good luck.

    ^^^ This.

There is a reason people go with the ones that cost more. RCI for example, does this with their bolt on sliders to demonstrate their durability.

Installed my mat holders on the passenger mat, next up is two in the rear mat to keep my kids from sliding it around.

Also printed Grogu to ride on the dash... Printed him out of color changing filament, green when cold and yellow when hot....

Thanks for the input. I don't do any kind of rock crawling, much less come across many here in South Arkansas. I'm more looking for something that will give more protection that a nerf bar, but keep the wallet from stretching thin on something I wouldn't use to the fullest. I'll keep looking around and keep posted. Thanks again!

I just had my front windows matched to the tinted rear windows. Also had the sunroof tinted to help with heat build up while parked.

Added some AVS vent visors today. I had these on my Tacoma and had to have them on the Tundra.

Changed the oil for the first time with
mobile-1 0w/20 and a Toyota filter. What a pain in the a$$ compared to my Tacoma and land cruiser!

got a delivery for my weathertech mats. I have had these in every truck I’ve owned. Well worth the price and easily one of the best mods you can do IMHO.

You're welcome, if you're looking for more protection than a nerf bar than your best bet is a slider. If you want no drilling to frame than sdhq or p&p sliders are the only 2 I know of that can be bolted to frame without drilling. If I was you I'd try to find a slider that someone is selling secondhand. That way it saves you some coin but you're still getting the protection you desire. If you only want new and don't plan to beat them really, more protection from debris kicking up on your sides like the Go Rino RB20 side steps look good and will keep the small stuff from kicking up on your sides. Again no experience with, but plenty guys on the forum have them and I've only heard pretty much good things. Something like that, Tyger, or the smittybuilts you mentioned will give you some protection but again, no jacking up on them and take it easy like you said. If you want more protection than a nerf bar/side step than you're looking at a slider and it's gonna hurt the wallet, unless you can find secondhand or a shop local to you that can fab up a custom set kindly to your wallet. Good luck.
